The slower the engine turns say at cruise the worse this condition becomes which manifests itself as a sag in the torque curve probably right where you need more not less. These are old designs with lots of ramp this keeps the intake off the seat allowing the rising piston to blow inducted mixture back into the intake thus lowering the amount left to be compressed the result is low compression pressure for the compression ratio. Cam 1 comes the closest but still not there.
